I unfortunately (in this regard) have no way of paying for wotanserver or da vinci via the internet so I'm up a creak without the proverbial....

After contemplating for 6 months i got a w810i. Its an excellent upgrade from my t630i. Some problems to highlight.
THe w810i does not have voice redial and there is no autoanswer in bluetooth mode.
Strange enough, the aging t630 has these functions. Is there anyway i can get these functions on my w810i? Any hacks?

Cells kinda good..Sound Qual is also amazing....
But hav u ppl noticed... the FULL VOLUME is kinda low..and am seriously worried abt it...so is there any patch or anything which can help me...increase it...
btw one more thing... The SMS capacity is 200....How do we increase it..??
FAR Manager doesnt work on our cell!! Does it..??
So how do we increase it....
Btw my Firmware is "R4DB005"
Do i need some updates/patches or Firmaware upgrades....??

what about saving messages....there is no option which saz save in mem card..etc...as in nokia models...n cant make new folders in there too....like for eg to categorize msg...into jokes..or say sayings etc.....
is there a video player ..available...for it??
i cant forward the vids tht i have recorded...need 2 see the entire vid ...even if i wanna c the end part only....??
n suggest any good site for its applications???...

Unfortunately, i've never used a bluetooth headset with my phone. Sorry can't say anything on that. For the voice redial, to be frank, i've never used this voice recognition dialing but i think there is an option where you set your magic word and individual voice-tags.

Are u referring to the speaker or earphone volume?
For me, i think the earphone's volume is loud enough for me. I never listen to my sounds on earphone at full volume. Never!
For the speaker's volume, i'm content with it coz i wasn't expecting to get a mini boom-box output from it. In fact, i seldomly listen through my speaker's volume.
Now for u answers:
No, don't know of any patch to increase volume.
Don't think there is anyway to increase sms limit. Try third parties maybe they could help u get it done. (DVT or wotanserver).
No Far doen't work on d w810 right now.
Well, i think u should only update to a new firmware if yo you think ur present firmware is not serving you well.

If so, i guess the most likely reason to this problem is, you probably didn't safely removed your phone from your pc before detaching your cable. This same thing happened to my first w810. Try wotanserver they would be able to help.
You need to buy at least one credit (about $7) or so, download the Main and FS files (that should be free), also download the latest wotanserver client (which you'll use to reflash your phone. It's also free to download). Follow the instructions and i think that would help. Good luck.

I had the same experince three weeks ago. I disconected USB cable to quick right after loading some MP's. That white / Black screen thing.
Then it would freeze.... I took out the memory stick and reformatted in PC as phone would not reformat the stick.. This worked well there after.
Your situation is mind bogling...........

Thanks guys for the suggestion & analysis; both of you are correct > except that I barely select Folder Mode or whatever its called (I never pay too much attention to that ability unless I'm transfering MP3s from work). It went topsy after I did the SE File Manager function of SE PC Suite.
WOTAN it is. I've got the latest Main app, but I cannot seem to find the central CDA files I need for generic America. Its listed on the main site but no way to download them. I'm out to do few things with the family just now and to get duckets out of the bank to put in the credit card > for PayPal. Then its off to fixing the phone tonight.
I think I'll buy two credits JUST IN CASE I forget to finalize my phone the first time, hehe.
Tonight If I get time to fix it I'll let you guys know the prognosis. Thank god I saved contacts to the MSDuoPro & photos auto save to it as well. whew!
