I'm not sure what you mean by "yaday yada yada", whether you mean to infer I'm speaking crap or what?, but since you didn't actually explain your self I don't feel inclined to defend what I was saying in that particular post. I'll let it stand for itself
Regarding something else you said, I don't drop a brand the very second they disappoint me, I'm happy to wait and see. The fact is, if the N95 had a touchscreen I'd probably go there. So from my point of view, Nokia continue to disappoint me and my needs with their lack of recognition of the strength of support for touchscreens in the market. But that hasn't stopped me acquiring an N70 recently, and even though it's more buggy than any SE phone I've ever owned (mind, I never owned a P990 LOL) I still like the little beastie. I'm not jumping up and down and complaining that Nokia are crap just because of one bad experience. Sure the bugginess (and damn slowness!) prevent me from even considering using it as my main phone. That honour remains with my K750, the most stable and reliable phone I've ever owned, bar perhaps the T28s I had years ago. But since I am on the lookout for a TS based phone with 5 way controller, neither SE nor Nokia satisfy my criteria. If I had to choose, I'd take the P1 over the N95. And again that's not a dissing of N95, which is a cool phone. It's just simple, for me a smartphone must have a Touchscreen. That's not a value judgement, ie: I don't think ALL smartphone should have TS, but FOR ME and MY needs, a TS is top of the list.
So I'm still with SE even though they don't have the best phones in the market IN SOME SEGMENTS. I'm happy with their non-smartphones, which in my view are competitive with all but Nokia's N9x series on non-smartphone based criteria. We can discuss all day what Nokia has that's better than SE on a per phone basis. This Nokia has wifig, SE only has wifib. This model has qvga video, this model doesn't. SE has touchscreen, Nokia don't. SE has better cameras than Nokia. We can go on and on with all these comparisons. But in the end, both Nokia and SE make some of the best phones on the market.
Regarding HSDPA, I actually agree. People who claim that HSDPA is a non-issue are dreaming. HSDPA is the future of 3G and SE will adopt it there is no question. They are just biding their time, which in my view (as I said before) is because they are currently concentrating on the mid-range market segments which are not as fussy about the having the ultimate internet speed (or can't afford the plans that can exploit it)
btw, re the K610, it's a very cool little phone. Nice small (same size as K750) 3G handset with great features. Basically a K750 in 3G formfactor (shame about the lack of camera AF though). The same basic ruggedness, simplicity and durabilty of the K750.

They yada, yada, yada, was for : "Hey Max, get to the point and say hello to me". Your posts are spot on. I tend to agree with just everything you say. Purely, the yada, yada, yada was a joke. Sorry the lack of explanation. You still the man.

I have to say i agree too that their phones are just all the same in another skin. I went into O2 shop and had a play with K810 and could find nothing new from last one except the casing. I then had a go with N95 and even LG Shine and both were ten times more exciting to play with and hold.

Well the K810i is really not much more than a tarted up K800i i agree, The N95 is one of the best AND most expensive devices out at present perhaps it's somewhat unfair to expect devices at 1/2 or 1/3 the price to be anywhere near as good.

Exactly, besides no one claims K810 is anything more than a spruced up K800.

"why dont se make a mixture of a walkman phone wiht a good camera like a k800i"
they have: t650i !!!
