I wouldn't care about beeing a beta tester if at least we would get a stable, working and fully functional phone.

Update sorta works on Vista, you have to run it as Windows XP SP2 in compatibility mode and run as administrator.

The update was stuck at 100% (PC to Phone stage) for over 10 minutes, so I took the chance and unplugged the phone, it restarted after a few seconds and viola new firmware.

Feel free to try at your own risk.

No update for opera, quick office which btw is not that good as Docs2go, and for pdf+ the same version, out of focus video camera, so I guess they've released a firmware just for space bar? Come on man, we're flashing our phone memory so many times, we do all the settings for pop3, wi-fi, and so on. Give us a right firmware, and then stop developing software, move on, grow up ppl
Maybe tomorow I'll update for video camera bug, the day after tomorow for another tricky bug, and next week for another bug?

@ Fredricx
Telia GPRS & 3G has been down since 4 am. It's still down and the latest information says it wont be fixed until 6 am tomorrow.

@ All
So, what's the verdict? Is this a keeper or a timewaster?

Definitely a keeper.

SMS bug fixed too - not being able to select contacts with Jog Dial when writing a new SMS. Writing texts is faster and T9 seems to be back to normal having gone slightly screwy in the last update.

No autofocus on the video camera though.

When reinstalling a backup after upgrade, does anyone get the voice marks for the contacts back?
With flip closed and writing SMS with the keys on the flip, can you make a return somehow without opening the flip?
In cameramode with flip open, is there any buttons on the qwerty activated for shortcuts like the arrows for zoom or something?

It did the same on my personal p990 as well after i upgraded. But this morning when i woke up, it seem to start working on its own even though Tmobile said that there was no coverage down. So I say give it time.

THis firmware is a keeper, but they have to release a new firmware to fix small things like autofocus, flash, and damn fix the memory leak even if it requires SE and US to be upgraded to symbian 9.2
