SymbianSigned.com now open for new user, but I did try a lot of email address to register, it stills said:
The registration is temporarily disabled for this email domain.
Sigh, I did try to use non-free mail address, but still cannot get a positive result...

At this point I would like to have some control over spreading of Longcuts.

Could there be any chance to have shortcuts like:
New SMS
New Note
New MMS and so on?
Thoose I miss badly..
No promises on that. From my point of view - when you open e.g Notes using Longcuts you are one touch away from New command. Looks not really hard to do that. What other guys say on this request?

I miss to control the brightness hardly - you have to tap on battery icon, then on button Settings and then to tab Brightness and then start changing it - wouldn't it be great to have shorcut for this? Especially if the P990 is badly visible at the sunshine - in summer I'm using it every day to change it - at night I have to put the brightness down again

This request becomes quite popular - to make various phone functions like brightness control, phone softkeys, mute and lock keys bindable. I'm going to estimate what it will take to implement this features.
