@pedro, you were right, the distorsion at max. volume is happening only for the service provider

I think its because of the recorded sound... its really bad sound when you set volume to high values.
But when talking to a real person, the sound is nice at higher volumes.

no no. i was talking about w800 distorsion at max with megabass. As you where saying, v.2 will be based on w850i. And plz dont forget about us heavy bass users
when releasing pack v.2 (with megabass), also add 1 headset zapf file with heavy megabass (separate link). plz and thx
i noticed that some music sound good even at max, but music with electric guitar cracks (rock, metal)! so its the mids, or the highs that cause the crack??

I loaded the Original Sony Acoustics and I can confirm that the Left/Right Channels are swapped. Sony messed up, but Peter will hopefully fix this for us.
Time to get rid of Sony's Acoustics and get Peter's back on.

Almost everybody didn't like it.. but I was surprised with that bass on a tec music [remix of freak - silverchair] man that made me fell like between to huge bass speakers.
Its hard to tell wich freq cracks first, but usually is because of low and high freqs... one of them is bad equalized and distorts first. Bad mp3 crack in low volumes... some earphones can't handle bass. HPM70 can =]

Man SE really disapointed on acoustics...
So, I'm planning to release 3 versions.
1 - For HPM70 users, with a push up on highs [can say its perfect on hpm 70]
2 - For normal or professional Headphones [like Junkemale one] with normal equalization
3 - For Techno lovers [house, base.. and other that I don't know the name]
with ultrabass
Do you feel the necessity to change ring acoustic?
bluetooth headphones?
handsfree?

Yeah, I couldn't believe that Sony could mess up the Left/Right channels like that. I don't know how I noticed that. Well with my headphones, the sound is so nice, that I really stop and listen to the music. The sound is so nice with the Grado SR60s, that you stay still and listen to every note/sound of the song. These are just the cheapest Grados at $70, I wonder how the Grado RS-1s sound, which cost around $700. Apparently, the RS-1s are the only headphones you'll ever need, if you love the Grado sound signature.
About the actual phone use acoustics, I put my volume on low (0 volume) and it is loud and clear. It might be a little too loud, as it offends my ears. Basically my cell phone is shouting at me at the lowest possible volume. It is clear though, so clear that I think other people will hear it! LOL.
I have only tested this with automated voice service through my service provider and not with an actual person to person phone call. I read you stated that automated voice service is supposed to sound like that, and calling person to person is fine. Automated voice service is free of charge for me.
I don't have a cell phone plan as I don't use the phone to talk much, I'm basically a text messenger (pay as you go), which is very cheap for me, 5 cents a text message with incoming messages free.
I wish I could be of assistance in those areas, but I guess I'll have to be your decent headphone, music tester.
