Had that before myself. Ended up being a faulty usb port on my computer and reinstalled the usb drivers.
Sometimes it also happens when the phone has been flashed with 3rd party software and the CDA customisation hasn't been written to the phone correctly.

tried it on another computer and it worked 2nd time trying.
might be the usb drivers playing up..
noticed the battery meter logo is changed but the picture saving is still very slow.(5 seconds to save picture in 5mp)
how does a debranded one do?

2 weeks ago, i sent in my phone to fix the erratic alarm problem. (it sometimes wouldn't ring). And I asked them to do a firmware upgrade at the same time.
When I returned to collect my phone, they handed me a replacement set! But with the same firmware. I asked the staff but she said that's already the latest one. I'm from Singapore, by the way.
My firmware is:
1204-1733
R3BA035
080521
I don't use Windows PC, so i couldn't use the SEUS. Checked for new firmware through the phone. Sometimes I get a " Your phone already has the latest software" message, sometimes "The software couldn't be downloaded".
This is very frustrating, as the alarm is starting to get erratic again after 2 weeks.
I'd only send it in for service again if there's a new firmware in Singapore.
No use if they hand me a 2nd new phone if the problem persists.
And they normally wouldn't tell me the latest firmware they got on hand now, but instead ask me to bring my phone down for their technicians to evaluate instead.
Btw, anyone knows the diff between my 1204-1733 and 1204-1731?

My first post and it down to a problem I'm having after upgrading my C902 on O2 to the latest software:-

Since I have done this, my screen seems to change in brightness while I am using it, even though I have it set to 100% brightness, it will start getting dark after about 1 second. Please note this is not just the standard standby when the screen goes completely black, it's actually happening while I am typing tetxs.browsing the net etc.
Has anyone experienced this? Has some power save option somehow been enabled by my software update?
Any help would be much appreciated
