As an ''all-in-one'' device the Samsung wins hands down, as a camera phone I think the C905 may win this one. One thing we shouldn't forget is that Samsung is still to announce its real competitor to the C905 then we could start comparing. And then there's the current champions of imaging, Nokia, who I think pose the biggest challenge.

The best thing to do of course is to wait until all competing products are released.

Are you kidding? this phone will kick the living $hit out of C905 (looking at the technology).

"+": Blink shutter, 1cm macro, WDR, DivX @ 120fps and VGA @ 30fps (with 120 fps you can "slow down time"), 3.5mm jack, sound chip with 3D sound, 3d accelerator, 16GB storage + opportunity to extend to 32!!! with SDcard (not like SE.. buy theyr M2 which is very expensive compared to microSD), TV out.. etc.

" - ": no xenon flash, and i like the SE interface and menus...

waiting for sample shots.

Fair enough but FYI, SE has it's own SmartContrast which works similarly with Samsung's WDR, while the 3.5mm jack is really usefull for audiophiles it lacks proprieraty port for native accessory use(that usb port is only useful for PC-syncing afaik) compared to the all-in-one FastPort not to mention that samsung does not offer extensive range of accessories compared to SE's extensive efforts on that side. I myself won't take the risk of choosing a phone with the in built 3.5mm jack and common usb port but loosing the opportunity to dress my phone with wide array of accessories. what accessory can we connect with that in-phone usb? can we connect high-quality earphones with built-in play-pause/volume button(which are very handy) only with a 3.5mm jack?

doesnt matter what samsung/lg/nokia bring out cos i like sony ericsson camera phones(excellent u.i,custom themes, affordable).
i've owned/still own t610,k700,s700,k750,k800 and now k850 and nothing,no matter the specs, will make me change to a rival brand.
so you could say i'm looking foward to the launch of the c905

well you can connect high quality earphones to 3.5mm jack, but you are right, not with play pause buttons. But 3.5 is standard, and with "C" phones u get $hitty earphones, and you have to throw out an extra 50euros to buy those HPM-77 or 88 or even more + i dont know if those high spec earphones have play pause etc buttons. I wouldn't jump into this untill both phones are released and tested. ~ 3 more months and we will declare our winner.
Lets not forget the extra CPU power samsung has to offer. Still i wouldn't mind these features in a SE. Maybe in 2009

one word is for sure, C905 takes very decent pics for a camera phone, the issues we used to see in the ill-fated K850(particularly the purple fringing and xenon flash burning out macro pictures) camera were now fixed, it doesn't matter for me whether nokia or samsung will beat it in specs or trumph it a little in camera quality for as long as we can take superb pics with C905. since C905 and innov8 uses the same camera module, the only thing i think that will make innov8 better than C905 or vice versa was the post processing applied.

i heard that it's only a rumour that these 2 phones use same module...
And i also use phones for multimedia.. i watch movies on it. Do you think c905 can support 600kbps video +192kbps audio? Also need a sound chip like the one samsung uses..

The C905 expected retail price is 500 euros and the innov8 is 780 euros. Difference of 300 euros. Now choose for yourself.

clearly this has better specs. But because it has a greater spec list, does it mean its a better phone than the c905? No!

the better phone is the one which ever suits the buyer more.
