Some people here (Plank, i'm looking at you) don't like to admit that some recent SE phones such as the K800/K850, and even the C902 have issues with low light detail and excessive noise reduction (the so called "oil painting effect"). I really don't understand the reason for trying to deny its existence - do you have stock in SE or something?
Something I posted many months ago, but shows the difference between good image processing, and poor processing.

@Radiux399:
WTF is that? This is the C905 Thread not (a stupid) war thread about cam quality of k850 and t650
BTW
Whats the point of zooming the pictures to the max just to see little defects?
IS A CAMERA PHONE, not a Digi cam or DSLR Pro Cam.
C905 cam quality is great and some many people will buy it because is

, and some people will prefer the Samsung because is "Samsung".
Sorry for my english

Plank here is the right place for your pictures:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=171299
however...
1. score for you for full size
2. neither of this pictures cannot pretend to have oil-paint effect. pictures of your doughter and the toy were taken in good light conditions - just look at exposure time and ISO in EXIF. LCD picture isn't good example too - luminosity of the screen is really high, once again look at EXIF
3. easiest way for oil-paint effect reproduction. turn on the light in your room when is night and just make a picture of this room. I hope you don't have 4x 100W lightbulbs

post it in C902 pics thread
guys please C905 shots only. from different phones only if you want to compare with C905, ok? great, thanks

1. there is no zoom here, just crop parts from a full-size picture plank posted
2. its a C902 and not C905
3. plank asked for this
so relax
EDIT: this went so weird
