1 question here..
if my laptop got virus izzit save if i transfer files in2 my C902??
as i heard.. onli symbian phones will b affected as the system running is the same as a pc's!!

Your PC is not running Symbian. If you have a PC (as opposed to a Mac) then you're most likely running Windows or Linux. Windows, Linux and Symbian are all very different operating systems and viruses have to be written for a specific operating system to be able to cause any damage. So a Windows virus will have no effect on a Linux PC or a Symbian phone.

Theoretically speaking, a Java virus would probably have better chance of causing damage to different operating systems...

which is the better firmware 4 pics?
izzit ur 002 or an update every now n then from SE??
coz if i'm not mistaken ur firmware is the older version right??
which means i can't downgrade my phone!!

the only way to downgrade your c902 to lower firmware is using da vinci, but if you do that your 2-years (very good) warranty get lost, so im not suggest that. (SEUS or EMMA just uppgrade, thats why you cant downgrade legaly)

about firmwares, i would say 002 [cam.driver:1.8] or 038 [cam.driver:1.9].
(038 have little darker colors, and maybe slightly faster UI, but 002 have little clearer pictures)..so if you have 002 from start, its no need to uppdate

002 produce a thick, nice red color...looks great even in sunshine
(havnt seen so many red objects with 038, but im quite sure it have the same red color)

100% crop

Hi all, new to the forum. I bought a C902 this weekend, replacing my k800i. I'm very disappointed with the picture quality im getting all this noise (purple/blue spots) in my pictures which i dont have on my k800i.

To respond to Devil, i really hope that the newer firmware is better but im afraid it is indeed not. I have not tested it with this phone but i had tested it with previous phones. Older firmwares had better picture quality..

I hope this gets fixed soon.

It's simply not a k800i when it comes to picture taking, unfortunately, since I bought one last week myself. My k790i took better pics for the most part. Time to get the c905 bud

I share your opinion there mate, asking the shop tomorrow if i can have the c905 instead. But first, gonna check forums for tags lag " bad picture quality on c905''

Here are some comparison pictures snapped by me.
The photo's are joined together in a collage and not resized, however the file itself is compressed to .jpg.

Let me know what you guys think.

EDIT: Could only post 3 post yesterday because of new member and could not alter the post

EDIT2: The C905 looks cool but its a bit fat

ty for posting, from these shot i would say k800's xenon performs better than C902 led flash.

What do other think.. is it worth replacing my super camera drivered K800 with C902 for better pics (in door, low light pic i mean as outside pics are great anyway) or shuld i wait for C905 (with real xenon) ???

No question, get the c905, wait for it. C902 has an awful flash compared to k800, c902 may take marginally better day pics (although it does not focus as well) but it fails in lowlight and anything with flash by a huge margin, but what can you expect from LED compared to xenon?
