Tried it with my P1i and it worked! Altho I feel the self timer sound is a tad bit annoying
So,no pauses while shooting video?Mine does.
try changing the video bitrate in the your text file....
it's 512000... change it to 450000 and then ... no pauses.

Ok, 1st let me thank you for taking the time to answer. While everyone is interested, they're only interested in taking and not giving anything back, not even their knowledge on the matter. I did lowered the value and I have to say it's just a bit better; it still choppy but only in the first 3 -4 seconds (twice) then it's smooth. I have to see if I lower it some more or...but I have to upload it 1st.

@701
Yes, like the P1, the first few seconds is a bit choppy for P990 as well as you mentioned, so I usually pan at one particular scene till that moment passes before I move it around, that way it won't seem like it skipped frames twice. But I discovered that if your DCIM folder in your MS is empty or contains little picture or video files, there won't even be any pauses at all at the start of the video recording and the overall capture would be smoother. You can try it to confirm this.

Camdrivers are being developed and they are in a beta phase i'd say. So no stable ones.
