I don't think I am such a big fan of Sony Ericsson like I used to be.
That's why my next phone is going to be Nokia N900. HTC handsets are not attractive to me.
Once Rachael has been released, I'm definitely going back to Sony Ericsson again.

I dont spend all my waking hours waiting for the next Sony Ericsson release. In between a good release from Sony Ericsson i have had Nokia phones and Samsung too. I am not just a stick to one manufacturer kind of guy. I try all sorts but i just prefer Sony Ericsson overall. I am not a fan of HTC sorry although if you read the recent Mobile Choice awards the HTC Hero won Phone of the Year. Must be a best all rounder but personally i dont like them. I have never had one i just dont like their style i am not saying they are bad.

Does anyone here STILL want the X3 Rachel, considering Acer's new device coming?

Prom1 please. You have been bashing SE all too much lately and this attempt is just sad. That is no way near rachael seeing how the icons are on the sides of the screens and not floating in the middle with nice graphics. Not to mention Rachael has a bigger screen most likely more pixel count for the camera and all that.

First off SE-Love you need to stop sucking on
nut juice and grow up a little. not ALL SE products suit EVERYONE's needs and you of ALL people should know this is a public and free forum & domain; you should be JUST as open to the conversation that
is just as equal for criticism by others even if you love the products. Take note that I've used
products in depth of their capabilities (A100/A200/UIQ) so I'm inclined to state a valid opinion.
Also note that HUGE loss of global sales for more than 2QTR's means that
is not doing things right and you all need to realize this. Many times before (P990, P1i, K850i, etc) a specific device has been hallowed as being the saving grace - and hasn't.
SonyEricsson NEEDS the competition as this should bring out the BEST they can offer and not become complacent in their products and services.
Back on topic
- placement of buttons on the side
- placement of camera on the back (minus the speaker grill)
- overal shape of the device ...
^ all take the same design queues. I didn't say they look identical!
If you want to call me criticizing a product as bashing; go ahead if it makes you feel better. But you HAVE agreed with me before.
Is this you're site?
Is SE paying you money to defend them?
Is SE granting you free gifts to defend their brand?
^ if none of the above then you shouldn't snub out criticism from other fans (if valid), nor should you uphold them as the best if signs of lack of sales are very telling that they need to resolve issues or offer better products or services.
What I've always criticized:
Calendar in A200: This hasn't really changed since A100 platform, and hardly different from T68i.
A200 resolution: 320x240 is very old, and with economies of scale in production; costs are negligable to increase the resolution.
Larger screens: Here
has listened as MOST of you agreed and many recent models (regardless of platform) in the past 2yrs has increased screen size: beginning with K850i.
Android: I've criticized this OS because of it's limitations - specifically Java, and power. The latter has been rectified with a better cpu & ram in recent announcements. Java well this is
's major scrength.
Even the great Mizzle hasn't defended
as much has when he first came onto these boards. Does that make HIM less of an SE fan? It shouldn't make me any less. Sorry for starting out harsh but out of all the fans on these boards I took you as being the most intelligent and willing to open their eyes beyond the obvious. Its ok I used to be the SAME way with Symbian - note I'm using an iPhone as my main device and IT has major weaknesses - specifically the Calendar (for now I don't need to rely on as heavily as I need to; it sync's online).

@Prom1
What a complete and utter load of nonsense!
People don't need to have shares in Esato or
to express favourable opinions about
.
Last Q 14 million SE phones were sold. Were all those people wrong or deluded? No. They were putting their money where their mouth is and some of them may have no idea what A100/A200/UIQ is, yet their opinions are just as valid as yours.
The amount of self justification in your post shows what you are most interested in - your opinion at the expense of everyone else's. Let's stick to discussing Rachael shall we?
I think concentrating on Rachael's 'Ericsson-esque' styling is missing the point. The massive leap forward here for
is in UI, which has been SE's strong suit for years. I can't wait to see this phone released.
