I used a modded driver. I'm using SEC5100' 2.36A camdriver.

Raiderski, sure we can talk here. there is no way to discontinue. All i know is we must continue in any case. i totally agree with you but i think plank should have made that clear at the starting. this is not the right time to implement this rule.
By the way, after doing that research on this competition, one more thing which i understand is every rule needs some thought. this was done by don, previously. but now in his absense, i think this has to be done by tranced. if he agrees on this rule of not using modded cam drive, it will be implemented from next month. this month every thing should be allowed. so lets continue here and get on with this and finish it well.

by the way here is my entry for this month of course taken with my k850i with cybershot xperience 7.7 by witchking.

if your photo is too weak to enter into competition don't post it and do not force me to lower my abilities because you can't go higher with your quality/skills

Modesty isn't one of your faults for sure

I think it can be used to create something which pure photo is not able to show

If you are not able to show your skill without photo editing or modded cam driver you have no skill in a photo contest like this, a camera PHONE contest. It’s more hard to take a pure nice pic without tricks.

In the photo section it is declared that “The photos here are uploaded by members of the Esato forum to demonstrate the quality of popular mobile phone cameras”

lack of modesty? a bit of an inconvenient truth said aloud. it wasn't a person to person message, it was a group (proponents) to group (opponents) message. sorry if you felt offended but important problems must be discussed from A to Z even if discomfort may appear

If you are not able to show your skill without photo editing or modded cam driver you have no skill in a photo contest like this, a camera PHONE contest.

so, is this really about the phone? is there any place for the photo?
my skills exceeded the barier of auto mode long time ago and I would like to use them, fully. is this wrong?

In the photo section it is declared that “The photos here are uploaded by members of the Esato forum to demonstrate the quality of popular mobile phone cameras”

we are not in the photo section, besides is this your point that everything here must roll around the phone and its limits? just asking

I don't want to make a mess here, we can continue on PM

every person has opinion , but ultimately not about their opinion, it's what rules are stated by host

OMG, you are only confirming it!

Without modding your camera driver it wouldn’t be possible to shot those pics. Simply facts.

Maybe you have forgotten your words when you were talking about the bridge pic:

in some way this can be seen as unfair competition

You can also notice plankgatan’s coherence when he said:

sad, its not original (cant remember my k800 had 1 sec exposure at night )
(but the rules are any modding, editing or tweaking.... so go for it)
still, if i "made" the rules (which i dont ) i should decide just original pictures.
(think thats more fair in a photo-competition, a bit weird when a k700 have better quality then a C905 ....you follow me...anyway, thats just my opinion)

we can continue on PM

great guy he came from nowhere and with nothing he wants to establish new rules. hey mister smartass axelpholey if you want to chit-chat about important things start new thread, if not then I invite you on PM. only one request - don't make a mess here any more. don't forget to post something really valueable in this thread - the photo

I will not reply on your last post because it's like reheating of the old pork. conversations between me and Plankgatan, ahhh... hey Plank do you remember? cheers! you must to know that Plank's respect on Esato is like 99/100 and you just started from 0
