i have c901 and my girlfriend got elm..elm pics are so dull(for me)and slow on taking pics?or maybe its just the firmware? ..ill post soon asap..

Elm/Hazel has smaller senser. it need slow shutter speed to take good photo. so it take some time to take photo in night. otherwise K850,C905 super fast thanks to large senser+lens

what about the pics that I have posted ,just zoom in and check the minute details ..theses are taken by ELM.No doubt in low light or indoor its hard to take bright, crisp pictures..but in day time or outdoor elm beats even c905,because I have used both c901 and c905.

no doubt its flash is very poor,in complete darkness it takes extremely dull picture may be as 1.3 mega pix cameras.
It has not got 3 point led flash, rather just a one which is quite inadequate,if not xenon it should have been 3 point led flash.
In short its jack of all trades like excellent outdoor 5mp pics, wifi, quite smart gps and very good battery timings.

think both c901 and Hazel/Elm have awesome sharpness.........though, colour-quality could be better on this phones, (especially indoor and low-ambient light)

I never used Hazel. but someone says Elm & Hazel take same photos. (same senser, same camdriver)

Even Elm also has focus problems. hard to get focus on macro. when I focus on some object (Even the object I need to focused always in middle of viewfinder) Elm focus done with wrong objects in another distances.

My thread about this prob: elm macro focus problem

it may be firmware bug or due to smaller senser.

It would be decisive if someone could take the same test (C901 vs ELM) with Elm using the modded cam driver 07.08.2010_plummy_elm-hazel_by_quasar84 and C901 using ... whatever. Now that would be something don't you think ?
