Still no updates for my UK Xperia U. Tried phone, PC Companion and Update Service and all say that phone is upto date on 2.3.

Ohh you mean the OLD only SONY UPDATE SOFTWARE not the full version PC Companion ?
Thx for info I will check on it

Give us your more impression ? how fluid and hws camera and battery and other stuff?

Yes, I mean the OLD Sony Update software (Formerly called as SEUS)... it was not available on the full PC Companion till last night.

The new photo album app lags a bit in opening pics... but the home screens are fluid.. menu opens fast... battery life yet to put to full test.. maybe in a day or two i shall have an idea... Chrome Browser is now included.

As I said.. during the first hour of use - it was painfully slow... it seems to have recovered after that. Camera app is the same. no changes there..

Some widgets like the calendar widget are now resizeable.

@ JC white: hang in there... it may be on it's way - Some UK users have confirmed ICS availability here: http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/297576#297576

How's the performance? Battery life? Photo/video quality (did it resolve the pixelation on the video capture)?

Still not got it for my handset yet. I have heard that a master reset will sort any lag issues.
