Got it today. Coming from the Z1, which is fantastic but really big, i couldn't resist this little power horse. Great screen, everthing else is just like z1. Great phone!

I got the black one, that was the only one available. I noticed two things that are not present in the z1, white balance setting and glove mode.

Nice. Not much need for gloves for me in Ireland as it's nearly always raining!
What's the led notification like?
The led notification on my xperia l is quiet good.a one centime bar at bottom of phone.
And can you customise the Led notifications?
Thanks

The led notification is at the top, almost 1 cm wide. Dont think you can customise the notification, its either on or off. Guess there are apps that lets you do that.

Try illumination bar app. I have been using it since xperia p and always worked. Nice to have different colours for different notifications

Congratulations, stais and tyko!

Sony identified a gap in the market for a premium, all-singing all-dancing Android smartphone packaged in a smaller sized frame. The 4.3in Xperia Z1 Compact is its first stab at capturing that market, and as a non-compromises smaller Android phone it is a very good first attempt.

The smallest of the Xperia Z line feels good in the hand, is sturdily built and is waterproof. It has a great screen, an excellent camera and applications simply fly on its powerful processor.

Star rating: 5 stars

It's crazy why Sony never had inbuilt setting for led notifications
