The reason why Z5 was named the best mobile camera has a lot to do with the focusing speed.

Many times reviewers has praised the perfect white balance but complained the noise level.

To me, the photos above shows the same, Z5c shows slightly more noise but better colour then 6s, so unless 6s can focus as fast as Z5c, Z5c does still have a better camera.

Phonearen = Whorearena. Whorearena is receiving money from LG and Samsung so that they can damage Sony and Z5 series reputation.

- review made after 4 weeks of use
- unit is pre-production according to the reviewer (?) if it is, why did sony allow someone to review it? nobody's supposed to review pre-production units according to their policy at IFA. nobody was even supposed to do benchmarks or upload photos.
- battery is not as good as the z2's and z3's. reviewer is clearly disappointed.
- display not as good as that of the competition
- camera just great. not awesome or top of the line.

please don't get worked up. the reviewer is a sony fan and i've followed her since 2012 or 2013. she surely is.

For me Z5c hands down.
And compared to RX100 it's soooo much more accurate in colour, dynamic range...
And sometimes it's much more important than the detail.

No bashing
She's fair. But pre production unit? One month old?
This doesn't make the review valid for me....
We'll see about the batt life.
Screen not great? Hmm..
P.S.
All of the other flagships bar Note 5 have much worse batt life anyway.

GSMArena Review
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_z5_compact-review-1318p8.php
Sony's new 23MP sensor shows great promise. But regardless of how powerful the hardware is, the camera experience is still very dependent on software processing.

Sony does have some spotty reputation in this department with certain recurring issues like poor edge-to-edge sharpness and a lot of noise under less than favorable lighting. Looking at the samples form the Z5 Compact we sadly see many of these issues yet again - some shots came out quite blurry and a lot of detail seems to have this watercolor like look, which is usually a result of poor noise reduction algorithms.

Focusing also had its ups and downs, and at times failed to lock at our test subject so, overall, in its current state the Z5 Compact doesn't exactly live up to the promise of a glorious camera experience. The key word here, however, seems to be the current state. Like we already mentioned, Sony seems to be amidst a camera software update and we might see those changed for the better down the road.

We are actually quite inclined to blame the software for a lot of the imperfections at this point, as it did also exhibit a few odd bugs while shooting, like endless focus hunting and absurdly short exposure times. Furthermore, we have to admit that shooting conditions were less than ideal.

The Z5 Compact's camera also has a lot of redeeming factors going for it, like nice and accurate color representation, a good dynamic range and last, but not least, very fast auto-focus even if not terribly accurate.

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Is Apparently Overheating For Some
http://www.ubergizmo.com/2015[....]verheating/?utm_source=mainrss

This could be the reason:

Last month in a teardown of the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, it was discovered that Sony had included an extra heat pipe in the phone. What this does is that it allows for better heat dissipation, which is handy when you consider that the Snapdragon 810 chipset is said to be prone to overheating.

This was applied to the Xperia Z5, but there was no confirmation of whether it was the same situation for the Xperia Z5 Compact. Unfortunately according to recent reports out of China (via Tech Grapple), it turns out that maybe the Xperia Z5 Compact was not given the same treatment because now there are users who are reporting that their Xperia Z5 Compact phones are overheating.

here's the link from China:
