Nope seems to affect Snapdragon 835 USA Note8s.

Haven’t had any issues so far

Bought the note 8. Any tips for battery saving.
Also any user sites for tips? I am new to Samsung (Sony user for 10 years). No idea where to go.

Congratulations and enjoy!

My number 1 rule with every smartphone is Turning Off Location unless you need it, or put Location in Power Save, as it really ruins battery. My iPad Air 2 just saw a huge battery life boost when I adjusted it's Location settings as it was getting seriously bad battery life for a device I barely use.

Other than that I have found the Note8 to give me plenty enough juice to get through a day of heavy usage, although I do too up when I get to around 45%, I usually keep my phone's between 45%-90% on a normal day.

Checkout: www.sammobile.com for all Samsung related stuff, and this particular section for Note8:
https://www.sammobile.com/devices/galaxy-note-8/

Bottom of that page has all Note8 tagged articles.

Speedtest, great. Let's not forget it's about how the phone serves your needs and how well it does it. Speedtests serve only that - testing of speed. To me it's useless, personally - never cared for them.

Demographics (location, age), social circle, lifestyle, and then price always comes into play - along with compatibility into your digital life style.

TSepz, curious do you use:
SmartWatch (would LOVE to see Sony create a stellar one to compete across all brands)
Bluetooth Stereo Headphones?
take your phone to the gym, on trips, what do you use it for fully? Not what you "can" but how do you use it (main points)?

Cheers.

I use my phone for a variety of things
- Social Media: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat - for myself and work, to manage client pages
- Music - Playing music via Bluetooth or Wired headphones (go between Samsung U Flex and Huawei BT headphones as well as the AKG wired headphones)
- Work email (exchange with 365 and Skype for Business)
- Watching lots of YouTube (Automotive Bloggers, tech Bloggers, and some others)
- WhatsApp
- Taking pics here and there of nights out and cars
- Managing my Google AdWords accounts when not in the office e.g. checking no campaigns are over or under spending their budgets
- Playing series and movies via Samsung DeX in the TV room
- Sometimes I use DeX and BT Keyboard to do work

The above link should be revisited I think once more apps are updated for iPhone x. Because hardware wise iPhone x is ahead of Note 8
