Hmm, PhoneBattles is having issues with their XZ2 Premium unit (retail, not pre-production). When recording video it records audio for the first few seconds and then silence.

I haven't encountered that issue, and I've recorded a few 4K/4K HDR/1080p videos. There have been a few bugs though, one is sometimes when you watch HDR content brightness gets maxed out, even though the manual setting is different. Another is my car's infotainment wasn't able to control music playback after I have connected my BT headset. Restart helped and so far so good. I hope they will be quick to fix some of these issues with July/August patch.
Can't wait until monochrome and bokeh are released, I hope Sony can deliver a well designed portrait mode.

The brightness not being maxed out sounds more like the real problem rather than it being maxed out when watching HDR. The brignetness maxes out on my TV by default, and it does the same thing to my Galaxy S9+.

huh you're actually right, it's always maxed out. Are you able to take HDR screenshots on other devices? I'm not familiar if it's possible at all, but currently HDR screenshots on XZ2P are just black screen for some reason.

Just updated my phone this morning, and we now have the Bokeh and BW modes.
And now, the UI is VERY confusing, especially for the video mode, it now has a seperate button for black and white mode, slow motion, HDR and high sensitivity.
