Yes, 60Hz.
But youtubers do not do research before saying stuff.
They think it is Sony's choice instead of CPU limitation.
Interesting, Asus Zoom had Hoya solution.
Someone said here months ago, one of 1ii prototypes had Hoya periscope.
Asus used true zoom.
Hoya is japanese.
haven't seen anything indicating x1iii will have hoya

They should add S-Log3 and Raw to Cinema Pro.
I also want a new Pro app with many audio recording controls.
So far there are : pm-134x, pm-135x and now pm-136x.

I think we will see Xperia brand being dropped before we see RAW video on Xperia
RAW on Sony cameras is only able through additional accessories and targeted to really high budget VFX projects that need all that data. Other than that XAVC does a very good job and so does the ProRes if you can deal with it's colors drifting all over the place.
But not all is lost here, there is still 10sec 20fps full resolution burst on your phone that is as close to best video on mobile. If Sony can make that go up to 25 or even better 30 fps on the next phone that would be a win for both photo and video static shots. If they can somehow implement that in Cinema Pro where you can pan the camera that would be awesome, it doesn't need to be high quality frame like it comes out of Photo Pro it can be with much less bitrate as long as they cool down the sensor or offset some of it's work to 888.

Company needs the mobile sector to take advantage of 5G tech.
Now that money bleeding is starting to stop.
The fact 1ii and 5ii are miles better than mark I, means they plan to keep trying as much as budget allows.
Just take any processing from video.
Their gear need other stuff for RAW because it is too much data , A7s3 can do 16bit RAW.
With very high bitrate.
Phone does not need. Just keep near 100Mbps with NR and other processing applied.

Here is the story ....
Tony left code days ago.
I used binary code tool to try to crack it.
Result was 5000.
That also could be translated to 4096, 50, 8, 128, 256 and 512.
Then I said I think 4096 could be related to 4K DCI video recording.
Now many fools all over internet think sony is gonna use a 17:9 screen, despite the fact I have never said anything about screen.
Even worse than this was the guy on youtube.
He claims phone has 6,7" 17:9.
Device would be much wider than Z Ultra, phone with more than 9cm wide.

4K DCI is unlikely but I think 4096 resolution is still possible, although I don't think it makes much difference in screen quality.

Why not?
One of the formats used by cine industry.
Also on reddit many users cry about no 16:9 for CinemaPro
