I do like the design, although I will qualify that until I have seen the phone "in person" as opposed to only having seen photographs.
More importantly, I plan to buy one to replace my T68i.

I believe as well, that SE DID give some thought to the feature set of this phone. With the release of T610, SE will have not 1, but 2 flagship phones, the aforementioned and the P800. So it had to be careful to balance out the feature-set of both, and also to determine the market segment it phone is targeted at.
The way I see it, the SE T610 is suppose to be the Nokia 6xxx killer, while the P800 is targeted at people who want a convergence device.

say the phones doesn't look like any other you have seen. Is it bad? No they are not scared of doing new things, and I admire that, it's like with BMW, some people like the design Bangle (7-series, Z4) has come up with but some don't. In the end we all might get used to it, and after a while we will maybe like it too. My point is that if there is no development on the design front we would still have phones looking like the gh688
.
The aluminium finnish on the phone will probably be nice to feel. The screen is stunning, and the rest of the phone too. So where is the problem? Just the design? (If yes): Did you have that big demands for 5years ago, and did you complain about it then?
