@volvoman - what exactly was the nature of your problem with cyren? If Orange had to 'come to the rescue' it sounds like it was more of a service provider issue than a retailer issue?

Should be out in the next few days. Have you seen the other thread saying there will be an updated T610 in September? Whats all that about then?

My problem was with cyren them selves all to do with small print and the conection. They recived my order on the sunday and I was to recieve the phone on Tuesday, the phone never came on Tuesday so I rang them to see what was going on. They told me they were very busy and would sort it out as soon as possible. I asked when the gameboy advance would arrive, and was told not for three months. This was not explained on their web site so I asked to cancel the order. They said I could not as it was already being dealt with. I rang Orange to explain the situation, and they said that the order was not through yet so cyren could cancel it. I spoke to cyren again at which point they got very nasty about it. They said there was nothing they could do about it, so I rang Orange back and told them what was said. Orange then said they had recieved the order but they could stop it. They did this and as you can imagine cyren were not happy. If they had been more honest in the first place there would never have been a problem. I only chose cyren because of the free gift they were offering, which was going to be for my son. I have ordered phones from mobileshop.com and smalltalk before all offering free gifts you get when the phone comes, infact i got a DVD player from mobileshop.com and this is where my order went for my wifes phone in the end. They even matched cyrens offer which they did not have to do. Anyway I was very grateful to Orange and mobileshop.com fro their help in this matter. Like I said a bit of honesty and customer service goes along way. All future orders will be with mobileshop.com, I would have got my P800 from them but like most other retailers they were out of stock at the time, so ended up getting it from phone4u who were the only people that had it in stock at the time, but after my experience there I can see why, but this has all been mentioned before.

I am looking at buying a bluetooth dongle for my laptop to use with my T610 WHEN I get it. Does anyone have any ideas which would be the best one to buy?

@orangeman - them folks at orange sure are some cheeky little buggers aren't they. Now they have increased the price of this phone to £199, and that is before it is even released!

I have managed to reserve one at Cyren for either £149 or £154. The woman said that they are likely to be dispatched next Tuesday though, not this week.

Oh, there was another thing.

Will Orange transfer my number to the sim that comes from Cyren? Cyren say that they can't do it because it needs to be done at activation and they have to activate it before dispatching it.

Any help is appreciated.

Orange shop in Leeds have said to me that they can guarantee there will be some available on PAYG tomorrow, as they have 2000 arriving. I also managed to get £10 off it for pre-ordering. So it's going to be £150 - nice.
