i think the p810 looks pretty good but it would really have to be
a lot better than my p800 for me to even consider buying one.. at least on launch anyway.. does look nice though

It looks as though SE dont like the p800 and see the need to release a better looking p800. The p810 is 5 percent better than the p800 max so i would like to see which p800er would buy the handset.

what will a 65k scrren enable us to do that we cant currently do the only thing it will do is shorten battery life. i dont know why SE couldnt release the p800 already with the p810 style and 65k screen

For marketing reasons i guess...all for the profit here i think they dont even care about the customers anymore and i dont mean only for sony.They make crappy and incoplete products just to sell ,were like guiney pigs here i really dont like this at all.

They will sell like hot cakes, but NOT to current P800 owners i think. i never need to see 65,000 colours on my P800, & i wont upgrade unless a SMALLER/ THINNER version is released.

a 16bit screen will give a much better definition in movies, which is a big plus. Having tried a few rips to P800 format (courtesy of a few tools advertised here), the big let-down is in the colour defintion. Sound is great, but the colour "blockyniess" sucks ass! Still makes train journeys better though!

I thought these devices are meant to be portable an functionable ?
I have a pocket PC thinner and less bulky than this that can do far more than this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and for far less €€€€$$$$££££ I have DIVx on my pocket PC and can watch a full length film then assess a sreadsheet ..work on html ..send an e-mail ..surf the web ..play DOOM !!!! for gods sake ..this is a b*stard B*ggery Nokia in sh*te clothing.

relaxz dudez. im sure your pocket pc can make a phone call or surf web and check mail WITHOUT ANOTHER PHONE. and im sure it can take pictures/videos. and the p800 already can play doom, assess a spreadsheet, and watch full length films (im not sure if it can support divx...). im not too sure about html though...
