Other ideas:
Hack the Camcoder beta so that it looks on the expansion card as well
Contact the programmer listed on the Camcoder about screen and get something via the back door
Get SplashData to do a SplashVideo as well as SplashPhoto [Note: I've already contacted them about this, so noone else needs to do this]

Steve,
SplashData already released SplashPhoto for SE P800/P900. Currently it is version 4.06. The details at
http://www.splashdata.com/symbian/splashphoto/index.htm and it also includes the PC Desktop suite to sync pics to and from P800-PC.
As for the Communicorder extraction from P900 to be used in P800, I dont want to say that it is impossible but talking about Symbian OS in specific, it reads drives in alphabetical order. In P800, there are 4 drives, i.e. A:, C:, D:, and Z:. So if the data for Communicorder is from drive Z:, it maybe possible to put it in C: or D: but if the Communicorder data is in A:, I think it could be impossible unless we found a way to reflash A: drive..
For example, the Startup/Shutdown animation is originally located at Z:SystemData but some genius dudes found a way to change the default Startup/Shutdown animations by creating C:SystemSysdata and put the new files of your preference in it. This works fine.
However, in the case of Communicorder, it could be more complicated than that because an application contains UID, and may refer to specific hardwares or files in P900 that are unavailable in P800.
Trust the above assists

Cool down mate

I read your message. You said:

Apologize if I misunderstood it.
