They're coming up very soon in the UK - not sure exactly when, but all the different party's political broadcasts are all over the TV so they can't be far away!

We have the elections to EU next month [in Slovakia]
Sammy,I had staffordshire terrier ( dog),it was very a bad dog and
very faithfull one.Last year he died - car hit him.I cried for him 2 days.

The European elections don't get a very good turn out in the UK. We also do not celebrate 'Europe Day' as, l believe, they do on the Continent.

I remember watching a news report about some sort of European holiday, 'Europe Day or 'Euro Day', something like that. I think the news report concerned France and I believe Germany was mentioned too. I just thought that it was a very European thing to do, but not a very British thing to do.
