Kinda strange though, even with the w800 out. I am still seeing the k700 in production. I find it strange that the s700 is suddenly gone.
I said "controversial" because of this flaming thread. lol.

anyhows just recentley got a S700i which is in a thrashy way, but Im having it re-housed in PINK!
and since ive been using the phone this week ive come across a few things which I want answered like:
1, What is the PlayNow (Function) used for? when I click it,
it dials the Internet then says theres some connection error
2, How do I check what Software the phone has on it I can't mema lol
been along time since ive used a basic SE phone (came from the P910i
series and many other series before the T/Z/D)
3, Does the Sevice light only show up as red? and does it only light up
when charging or somewhat else
Please help guys

When you click on PlayNow the S700i is supposed to dial up and find a selection of ten tunes which you can download and listen to before you buy them. A sort of try-before-you-buy service for the latest mp3 ringtones - not full track downloads. Its a good idea, but I once got burnt, I paid £2.50 for a 10 second ringtone - not very good value in my opinion. The connection error is probably a problem with your wap connection settings.
Software = R * L L * L *.
Not sure about the service light, I can't remember. Mine is at home (I'm at work)

'Service light' flashes red when low battery; lights red when charging, turns green at full charge, turns off when you remove charger.....I don't remember mine ever showing service! HTH.....

btw well nothing happens when I select playNow,
is there some sort of setting I can adjust?
and I still can't master all that keypad action to get the service menu
lol well my service light seems ok for a min I thought it was bust only showing red

The service menu is just as I said. Don't pay any attention to the screen while pressing the buttons and it will just appear.
Get your wap settings sent again from the
site and it should be ok. Is your wap working otherwise?

wap works fine but i'll resend the settings anyhows
how come SE have started charging for themes
ive only got one naff theme on my phone and they really exspect me to pay for more

Yeah! The link should be on the site.
Lasyk.net is another good place, and there are loads on the
wap site that are free too.
I like the animated themes the best, though you could never find any others.
