*yawn* Not bad @scotty if only you had the correct dialect

Hint:Geordie

I appear to have touched a nerve associating you with a gay historian - why not 'come out' on Lonely Hearts I'm sure someone would be interested.

Who is this?

@somebodymakingapointIdon'tagreewithorwhohaspostedandma

Actually with regard to the point you made concerning ... there now follows a lengthy diatribe ... you may find the following thread of interest insert link to a thread concerning a similar subject ... pip pip, tally ho ... more waffle and pontification ... insert long winded explanation of the fall of the Western Roman Empire and British constitutional affairs ... jolly good! Huzzah!

The above format should be used in the subsequent fifty three posts made in reply to what started out as a simple question concerning how to adjust the volume on one's mobile, but was 'guided' into a discussion on the validity of Clausewitzian theory to the history of modern warfare, with various members posting once and realising that to be drawn into such a conversation would almost certainly entail them spending a large part of their day fighting off sleep.

@mince

David Starkey is gay? Seriously? I never knew that, I just thought he was a snappy dresser. Oh you, shut that door!

As for the dialect, colloquialisms all sounds very similar to me, so thae dae (did I get that last part right?).
