Nah, i'll wait. Im not a fan over Vodaphone branded phones.

I hope its available by the new year unbranded or on other 3G networks like Orange or O2.

Btw, when do Orange and O2 launch their 3G services ?

How can somebody want a vodafone branded V800? Don't support this company, guys! Why can't you wait for the unbranded version.

By the way a person at A1/Vodafone told me that the V800 has a really poor standby- and talking-time. True? Wait for the vodafone-free version. Don't hurry - take it easy, cause "there must be more to life than this" (Freddie Mercury)

Maybe, but on the Swedish SE site ( if i remember right) its available unbranded, with no links to Vodaphone at all.

I went in my local Vodafraud shop today to see if they had a dummy of the V800. Not only they did, the girl behind the counter ran up to me with one hanging from her neck and let me play around with it.

I was impressed with everything, except the Vodaphone branding (obviously) and how easily the black case becomes covered in grubby finger prints.

There will be an unbranded version in a few month.

Another question: What about the poor standby- and talking-time and the dialing problem (dialing-time between 3G and 2G), known from other UMTS mobiles like the Z1010, LG 8120, 8130 aso.?

What suprised me when i held both the S700 and V800 today was, that although the V800 is smaller, it felt much bigger.

If you can understand that.

Also, the exterior screen really is tiny, like a British postage stamp !
