I went to smartnet today and was extremely disappointed. Well it was my fault anyhow, i thought when gm said there is a software upgrade to r2e for t68 users, i thought t68i versions are included. I never thought it woukd have to be different for the i versions :-(. Just puzzles me y ericsson had the r2e upgrade first for m than t68i This post was posted from a T68i

@ThreeOnTheTree, sonyericsson had the r2e upgrade both m and i. The reason why i have the m software is that we have the t68m and its easy for me to get the software but on the t68i I need the phone to get software on line & the latest software for t68i that i have is R2B. Dont worry sir I let you know once I have it coz sonyericsson gonna send one t68i this afternoon just to get the software. Thanks and have a nice day ahead!.

I was really looking forward this morning to have my thing upgraded. I hope soon you will have the software for t68i and inform us here.

Hey G_M, one more question, the guy I talked to this morning told me that they wont honor my international warranty with the official receipt but its ok for me I wouldnt mind paying for the upgrade if I have to. Question though, if I paid for that R2E upgrade, would i be paying again next time I asked for another upgrade just in case ericcson releases a new one?

I believe you dont have any casings at Smartnet, if i bought one at Greenhills and have ny phone's case changed, would that void the warranty?

oo nga pala... if we buy casing at GHS and let you install it, will it forfeit the warranty??

3ontree...upgrading at smarnet is cheaper...

619, cheaper by only 50 pesos but the reason why I would wnat to upgrade at Smartnet is because they can do it in a day or just a matter of minutes to hours unlike Semicon, it takes them days to do it.

619, have u seen casings at Greenhills? I am looking at the green or royal blue one like ive seen on the net

@ThreOnTheTree, once you pay the R2E upgrade no need to pay for second upgrade and regarding the replace casing dont ever try to open your phone to unauthorized service center its already void, smartnet and semicon is the authorized to open those phone under warranty.
