I mean the button on the side that normally is Internet.
I cannot assign this using SEDT

I can assign that button with the following options:
I can not only switch from Applist to SEDT, also from Config application to SEDT, but not reverse as I stated earlier.

Yes. The ability to assign that only seems to work on P910 & doesn't work with a P900.
The jogdial towards switching is a seperate feature

Look at my picture above, Configure application. You get to that menu by clicking the adjustable spanner icon.

I can see from your pic that you have configured the hardware/internet button to launch the applist. Are you still saying that pressing the hardware button doesn't switch from desktop to applist or are you talking about the jogdial (that it doesn't switch from desktop to applist)?

I am not saying that any longer. Thanks to Esato!
Now I have learned how to switch from desktop to applist with the hardware button. To switch back to desktop from applist I have to use jogdial.
