The majority...

are n...n...nokia? *tremble*
Whizzkid, they are releasing three new phones!!!
What more do you want them to do, go and raid the nokia warehouse and paint the words se over all of the phones and sell them?
these things take time,
the quality of nokia phones is crap

like to do a lot of market research and thinking into the design and content of these phones, dont ask

to do what nokia does!!!

No offense to anyone here ok? But...
"Penetrate the Chinese Market" hmmm.... "Get more market share in India"....hmmm.... "Have more people switch to SE from Nokia" .... hmmm... WOW... such breakthrough & original ideas!
Do you seriously think SE is NOT trying to do this? Your ideas may be better than the guys from Sony marketing (I'm pretty sure most of our ideas for making SE's market share grow are better than the guys currently running the show) But unfortunately, we don't work for SE...and SE isn't mailing out a survey for us to fill out.
China is a company's DREAM... Billions of people... all new customers... EVERY single company DREAMS of breaking into the Chinese market. It isn't that easy. Just cuz there are people there, doesn't mean they will..or even CAN buy your product.
Nokia has taken the Fred Flinstone approach... why? Cuz they know the reality of it all is... Joe-average doesn't need the most high-tech phone.
Ericsson on the other hand tries to bring hi-technology to everyone, at reasonable prices.
SE... is another story... it's trying to be the best of Ericsson, and Nokia. THAT, my friends, is THE Holy Grail of business. Something every company dreams of achieving.

@jplacson - I guess that's the TREND now mate . . . put your multi-billion empire in China and India, just like what other big businesses in US are doing now . . . let's just not forget what makes the deal more - 'sumptuous' - CHEAP labor !
