No overcharging wont happen since i think the necessary circuits must be in place to prevent that. I leave my phone on charging every night when i go to sleep and remove it only in the morning, so i have evidence that it wont get overcharged

Ditto. this is one thread where i'm not present and ppl are still asking doubts.

hey ascii gurl i live in bombay and am on orange network some months back i had reflashed my fw from r2l to r2ae and i noticed a major diff in batt life it wud last me for 2 days with radio on most of the time and cam functioning but the drawback was my mms more than 10kb just wud not go so reflashed it back 2 r2l as my mms money was goin down the drain then batt lasted just one day max so fw also plays a very imp part in batt life and yes i also put my phone for full night charge sometimes normal charge sometimes optimized charging and i dont have any complaints till now with all my 3 se phones.....

The original fw i have right is r2ae033. The average batt lifespan is around 2 days with also of 2 hrs max charging time. I tried to charged it to 4 hrs. I just have to see what will be the result. Also had no problems else where just d batt i guess thats y i love my k700.

The battery cannot get over charged. The charger has a trip switch, or something, which stops flow of electricity if a certain voltage/current is reached. I think. At least its supposed to do that
