Yes, I am using the latest 1.18 build.
P910 has a lot more memory. P900 has 16MB of memory but only 5-6MB are avaliable as system takes much ram. P910 has 32MB and as it's using the same OS as p900, it propably has 20MB avaliable and that's why u haven't run low on memory yet and experienced verichat crash. Try to run as many apps as possible to fill your memory (or get yourself p900) and see if VC crashes on your device.
Anyway making VC a system app would be a good step even if it's not the source of my problems becouse most apps that are intended to run for many days (handy day, sman, agile ...) have that feature.
Thanks for answering my previous post.

@bighead
I think the lack of memory is to blame not VeriChat per se. When the phone runs out of memory it starts closing apps. But I believe the first to go are the nonsystem apps - in this case VeriChat. Perhaps VeriChat being a system app would help but nevertheless you can't have to many apps running. Eventualy one of them (at least) will get closed due to memory lack and there is no guarantee it wouldn't be VeriChat.

I see your point, but you are wrong. System app is never closed by system. For example: I have sman, hand day and agile running (all of them system apps.). I start opera and when I try to open a new page in a new window it says something like "not enough memory to load page", but no program is ended. I manualy close handy day to free ram and continue browsing. If I did the same with verichat (instead of agile), it would crash even before opening the first page, becouse non-system apps are closed before there is no ram.

The next release will have the option to mark the app as a system app. The other things planned for the next release are multiple accounts, and making the PDM list in Flip closed into a menu so that you can select use shortcuts to select which PDM you want. The release should be out next week.

I updated Verichat via the update function within the app to v1.19. The problem is that whenever I want to open the app it crashes. Try to reinstall it but there is no v1.19 on your website yet. Should I just reinstall v1.18?

Sorry to hear about your experience with 1.19b. I have removed that build from the OTA system for now. I have been running the same version for about a week now without any issue. It looks like there might be an issue in the upgrade path, and I will have someone look at it tomorrow.

The millionaire bot was causing some grief on our servers and we had to take that down, so it has been offline for a day now, but it will be back soon.

We have identified and fixed some issues in the upgrade path from 1.18b to 1.19b. Is there someone who had the crash earlier willing to try a special build and make sure it doesn't crash before we put it out for general consumption?

If so, please send an email to support@pdaapps.com
