masseur I am overall pleased with my k750. My main worry last night was that i would experience the standby crash. But this morning I woke up, my phone was perfectly fine

normally i end up getting new phones every 4 to 6 months. but i think i'l be sticking with this phone for at least a year.

this goes for me tooo i stuck with my T630 for a year till i upgreaded to a K750i this week and i like to phone soo much
no standby crashes
no restart while rotating pictures
i dont save pics in contacts so i wouldnt bother with that function
i consider my self lucky not to have thoes bugs
but my phones an unbranded version sim free
i dont have to look for a phone till summer 06

Have used my K750i for a week now and I believe it's a great phone with the exception of two bugs (that have already been reported):
- Phone locks up about once per 24 hours. Usually it's when a SMS/MMS is received, but not always. When it locks up even the standby clock stops and the only solution is to remove the battery.
- Bluetooth is not working as well as expected. E g when browsing services on another device it tends to lock the phone in the "search mode". Turn off/on the phone solves this. When sending several separate files to the phone the phone stops receiving after a few files, and BT needs to be turned off/on. Phone receives again.
Bug one is a major issue for me as I use it for work...

My friends K750i have had a total screencrash. His screen is weak and u cant see clearly (its like haveing the T610 in the sunlight). Sometimes the screen flickers and he can see for some secs! I hope this dont happens to my k750i.
I really want the new firmware soon...

I want to list all kind of bugs you guys have on your k750i so we can send them to SE for the next firmware update.
I can start the list with:
1. I cant create larger MMS than 100kb (it works with my previous k700i).
@dark - I thought this was the standard size (100 KB) when sending MMS - video in all networks. Or were you talking about IMAGES-MMS
@JN - No. In Sweden our operator Telia supports MMS up to 300Kb. And that was what the k700i supported. The k750i however, although a better phone, only support 100kb MMS.

Hi
I am new to this forum and have been reading your comments with interest! I am now on my 4th K750i, the first 3 were all on O2 with the O2 branding. I had all the probs you guys have had; crashing, locking up, intermittent bluetooth....
I gave up with the O2 handsets and have picked up a sim free unbranded model from CPW. But....
So far so good, but I cannot get the phone to stay paired with my handsfree car kit (Parrot CK3100), it drops the connection after one call. Has anyone else had any issues with bluetooth car kits? (my old V600 worked fine so it must be the K750i)

Not sure if it can be classed as a bug.
If you're sending a text message and it says it's sent it, for a small period of time it still says it's sending it, if you keep pressing back then the keypress tone goes really loud and then quiet again, hardly anything to worry about but just seems like a little glitch which I can live with.
Everything else is great.

Well, i've had it twice now so I'm classing it as a bug...
I leave the phone doing nothing and the clock screensaver starts. After a while, i'll try to use my phone and it'll have locked and won't turn back from the frozen screensaver. Only way to turn it back on is taking off the battery.
This is a completly unacceptable bug and i'll be returning my phone if it does it again.
Anyone had that happen also ? My last K700i died on me and i'm amazed i even got a sony again.

It happens to mine as well. I've red in other forums that several others have this problem. So it's a bug I think.
