I need some help now :s
My current hard drive in which I have Windows Vista installed is dying. When i turn on the PC, S.M.A.R.T. shows a HDD status: BAD Backup and Replace msg, sometimes it freezes and some others errors. I got a new and bigger hard drive to transfer all my stuff using Windows Complete PC but when I try to restore I get this "There are too few disks on this computer or one or more of the disks is too small".
I don't want to install windows and all my programs again on my new hard drive that's why I thought that Windows Complete PC was the perfect solution but I guess I was wrong, so is there any other way to restore my complete hard drive to my new one?

Norton Ghost?
You can clone a drive with ghost (it uses it's own boot disk) and then stick the copy in an external hard drive caddy and chkdisk it. Solves some of the errors caused by the dodgy original hard drive

You could use a video switcher but a decent quality HDMI one is likely to cost more than a dual display graphics card

get a good cheap gfx card off ebay. I've got a 128mb nvidia with DVI, S-Video and VGA here with the DVI to VGA connector.
Needs a clean around the fan though because it makes some sound!
interested?

I tried ghost once and I wasnt really happy with the results, I guess I'll have to use it again to see if I get better luck this time. Thx Cyco
