I'm due an upgrade this month...dunno whether to get the n80 (for a change) or wait for the new SE. I really like SE's though! Does anyone think 02 will waiver the charge for the n80 or k800 if you've been on contract with them for 2 years?

@glenny100, I think like me, Sutitan was getting confused as to what you were pionting at. I was thinking you were saying the K800 is out. Sorry my bad:)

@dreamfish You might be dreaming a bit they want like a £100 for that phone. You might get a bit knocked off. Or just try saying your going to another provider, then you might. But like the saying goes, you have nothing to lose by trying. So ask.

Your upgrade is normally worked out by the last three months of bills i think (anyone work for o2 who can verify that/correct it?), so even if you've been with them for 10 years you might not get it free if you're on a cheap tariff. Best advice usually is to ask if they can do it free cos otherwise you'll just go get a new contract with vodafone and get it for free from them. In my experience they'll normally give you some kind of a beter offer.

In flight mode you should be able to access all of the phone's features that does not require network access (like calls, text messaging, gprs etc) games and watching videos should be able to be done in flight mode. Someone who actually has the phone will have to veriffy this though

I've been thinking about that - using the focus-assist light as a flash light would be cool, since it's more inobrusive and would still provide suficient light to look for something you droppped.
