@akdemiru

could you kindly test on the memory leakage?

use random applns including your push mail for a few hours without rebooting, then use swiss manager pro to stop applns & reclaim free memory.

See if you manage to get the same amount available memory as you first start the phone.

@akdemiru
Very appreciate your information.
Now could you please try one real-world situation.
Try listening some music, browsing internet, copy some text in a page, paste it in a new word document and send that document via email, all in a row.
Thank you

edit: And yes, if that goes fine open agile msng and tell a person you sent it (i.e. just connect to agile).

give me a few hours and I'll let you know.

also real world tests. I'm already using this phone. so its you can say on test all the time.

opera is open all the time even if it shutsdown I restart opera and continue to wurf the web.

also wireless is on all day, cause its free not like gprs

and finelly bluetooth is on fulltime.

But after lunch I'll try copy paste and media player etc too..

also is it possible to do offline update of FW.. without connecting SEUS. if it is than I think I might try to give you guys the R9 FW

Sure, and I think, we could go one step further...I mean, would you people feel happy to sell your *mostly* useless P990i at about -25-30% of the originally paid price and get another (not P990i, of course) phone ?

OR :

Would you file a petition against SE that they have to take back the P990i's of the unsatisfied people (that's *lots* of people) or face a global lawsuit against them ?

If the *final*, repeat, final release of this firmware doesn't fix the most obvious and important problems, then it means, that SE has misleaded all P990i customers and the phone is NOT capable of doing what it was originally advertised for (mind you, it's a highly business-oriented device with a price on par with that) !

The whitepapers of the P990i are a piece of ****, the phone can't live up to its specs ! For example, the P990i would be able to record 352x288 MP4 video (it's in the whitepaper since MAY 2006 and in the recent one, which came in November), but it can't. Just compare it with Nokia E70, that's a much cheaper phone and with a much better memory management & multimedia capabilities. That was just one example, there could be others as well. Now, I ask : if the d*mn phone could do what stays in the whitepaper, then why on earth can't SE manage it, to really do it so ??

And the multitasking as a d*mn bad joke on P990i...my first PDA (Compaq Aero 2120, from 1999) was light years better in this aspect, it had 16 MB of total RAM and ran 10-12 apps at once without any problems !

SE had better give us a really good new firmware or face the consequences. What the *** does the SE management think ?

Ok, let's give them a chance, we should be patience a while but when the new fw released is not how we expected then we should tell the world how bad this P990 is and campaign against bad product..... lol. How bout that? while we can think to get better phone.. i've open the forum to talk about that. So next firmware would be the line... i'd even think if there is any dumb people wanna trade my P990 with O2 exec?.... lol

Guys...he has push email on background and he is able to run Opera and Agile messenger at same time...i simply canīt do that, and i never have push email connected...iīd say thatīs something really good

But it might have to do to the fact that opera was upgraded and now uses less RAM??? Anyway, we will have to wait for the final version of the firmware, next week
