there's nothing wrong with most of the acoustics giving good sound through headphones...but i think we need to find something that is loud through the speaker...by the way mriley...what headphones do you use? if those basic that are included in the box they are no good...i use HPM-77 or HPM-70 are excellent..but not the ones included in the box
and in order to remove equalizer limitations you don't have to use a patch...in the folder Hiron provided if yo go to this one

then inside this one
2. customize_upgrade_xml to tpa-preset-custom, not for Clear Audio or UIQ
and there's customize_upgrade.xml to remove the limitations...

1 LOG Supreme which is 24 euros?

AFAIK CU not remove the limitation. it just set the value more, you can't increase it again, just decrease possible.
you not need to have permanent, jjpatcher can do it
