But yet there are, and apparently it wasn't. What else is there to say? SE pulled their own phone for a laugh?

Do you think just maybe there could be something behind the "negative publicity" or is it part of the world-wide anti SE conspiracy? Maybe Eldar put UK leading phone reatilers Carphone Warehouse and phones4u and industry insiders magazine "Mobile Today" up to it as part of his anti SE master plan.

What's needed clearly is more positive advertising and PR spend from SE on top of their giant budget much better spent on positive "spin" rather than developing phones and services.

Ermmmm..... you have a point......well no! Looking a bit too deep into it, the N97 has been withdrawn from vodafone and it has been reported, and seen as the Satio is doing so well it is very likley the phone will be reported on. Not too fussed about the aino, no one bought it in the first place.

yes, boiing, you are right.Wont be long for SE to get it all right.

if you ask me, SE is getting too much negative publicity. I dont think any one in this forum has had any problems with the Aino. Have they?

The problems I have are several:
1. The phones gets really really slow when I use conversation and have a conversation that has 10+ conversations. I changed the settings to save messages on phone memory instead of SC card and it helped a little.
2. Phone sometimes goes blank and comes back again. I think it's struggling to get memory resources or something. Will cool apps like Facebook and Twitter on standby screen SE should have spent a few $$ to add more RAM to improve performance.
3. The lock button design is terrible. It should have been a tight slider button or something. In one week I ran into several situations where I started to hear music from my pocket as the phone got unlocked and touch mode started to play music.
4. You will never want to talk on this phone with slider closed as you will accidently touch the call end button with your ear and get disconnected. Even when you use bluetooth you want to make sure you don't have the phone in your pocket as it will result in call getting disconnected.

I thought LG Cookie which is a $130 phone lately is utter crap. But that is because of LG software. Aino is worse than that even though it has the great SE software. They messed up how the touch is implemented for locking and call handling.

My friend has an Aino, I have not opened mine yet.
He has had it for a week and heīs very happy with it.
The lagging sometimes in "ConverSATIOns" ..is something Iīve noticed in my C905 also.
My C905 is probably the most bug-free phone Iīve owned. No issues what so ever! (Donīt use the above)

I think there is so little patiens, if there is some minor bugs (Like "Convers..) Iīd say that it works really great!
The Aino is a really really great device, much better than my Symbian-based Satio.. (Love the camera though;) ..and I canīt understand why anyone would say that it sucks and is bad in all aspects..!?

Some complain that it isnīt a fulltime touchscreen, why donīt you look at another device?
I think the Aino is perfect for me, (the Xenon flash from C905 or Satio would be great)

When you listen around the complaints are really ridiculos sometimes.
The buttons are too small, the buttons are too large, the screen isnīt OLED..? (Why does that matter? Yes I know the difference.)

Name a phone and I can promise a long list of cons on any phone you can come up with, itīs just a matter of the need to whine IMO..

Canīt wait to open mine, but Iīve promised myself to finish some important work first.. ..at least I get to play with my friends phone..

The main reason I got Aino is because it has large screen for non-touch. I don't care for touch screen. My main problems with it is how it gets unlocked and starts playing music. As a work around, I browse photos and then lock it. This way I am at least protected from music playing when I am in some meeting. But the main problem is to talk with slider open as with slider closed I end up touch the call end button so many times. With new firmware they should come up with something like iPhone has. While on call I can press the lock key and the phones stays locked while I am on call. I love the Facebook and Twitter apps on standby screen but can't use them because they make the phone act very slow when I can next text messages. I almost can't open the message sometimes for a minute.

My son uses C905 and I have to say that phone may not look great but the damn thing is holding very good even with his rough use and the slider still feels solid after almost 5 months. I just noticed how his phone also feels laggy when he gets several SMS on the conversations screen. Too bad he never uses SMS and so never told me. But I never noticed this problem on W995.

Hey guys, i'm new to this forum, and this is my first post, so hey!
I just wanted to say, that i've actually not seen a single Satio commercial here in Denmark, but I see commercials for the Aino VERY often.. So it's almost the other way around here.
I just stumbles across a review of the Aino on a danish site posted about a week ago, where they call the Aino the best Sony Ericsson phone in a long time, and give it a 9/10.
I'm still waiting to get my Aino, and have been for a month, but should finally get it sometime next week. I hope that my experience with this phone will be positive as it has been for a lot of you.

This is the link to the video review (danish) of the aino, dunno how to link properly, so sorry.
