@etaab it isn't a 3rd party battery. Samsung made a 3,000mAh extended battery for the GS3 costs between £20 to £24. It comes with a new back cover and makes it only an extra mm thick.

Etaab
Bono is talking about Samsung's own Official 3000mAh GS3 battery kit:

Samsung do this for their Galaxy S flagship a good 12-14months after release. The Galaxy S2 got a 2000mAh battery with back cover, Galaxy S3 got 3000mAh as posted, and Galaxy S4 should get something like 3050-3200mAh very soon. Had I not broken my S3 I would've got a Batt Kit myself as I was only planning to get a new phone this year.

That's not too bad then. I wasn't aware Samsung had that in their catalogue. I don't think i'll bother though as im due a new phone in less than 4 months.
I just want a phone which can retain battery even if you spend an hour web browsing. If I web browse on my S3 whilst at work, screen set to auto brightness, like I said the battery can drain a good 30% in just an hour. Sometimes more, which I attribute to the amoled screen as my N8 before it was the same. Ive gotten accustomed to carrying a charger with me or keeping one in my car and at work to keep my phone topped up throughout the day.
When the 2014 flagships come out I'd like to see 3000mAh - 3500mAh size batteries minimum.

If you want a Nexus device just don't get the Nexus 5 it's battery is terrible. Camera and performance is great but not the battery. With your S3 etaab if you've had it for a year perhaps the battery is losing charge now?? Batteries tend to start to depleat quicker after a year

Possibly, but I remember it being that way when it was brand new.
I wouldn't get the Nexus as by the time my contract is up for renewal, it'll be more than half way through its life span.

Sexy.

The leather back is really nice to hold. The Note 3 felt good when I handled it, so I guess this would feel better since it's smaller.

Indeed
I wish it came like that from the start, it's going to make for a stunning and highly functional Android mid end this year once the flagships arrive from next month.
