i know katatapos lang ng successful EB v3 with bluetooth showcase, crusoe demo, MMS troubleshooting, and coffee and more coffee (umiitim ako!) but we should prepare for the grand one for this year. Yup EB v4 together with Master Laffen himself... Ferr, sa yo uli ang bola (ball)...

@mozilla, they (Laffen and his Girl) will be in the philippines bet 22 aug and 13 sep, the EB v4 will happen in between.

i I was just interested to see how fun it was during your EB but unfortunately for us here in Riyadh Saudi Arabia www.pbase is BLOCKED I am sure Kutcchi Manggo would have the same predicament.

Good Morning! I don't know if any of these have been discussed before but here are some ideas for events to coincide w/ E.B. 4.0 that I'd like to throw on the table:
1.0. Hold a "friendly" contest for the official logo of Phil. Sonyericsson user group. This will include a complete set of backgrounds, themes, screensavers, etc.
1.1. Entries can be uploaded to a site where there will be online voting.
1.2. Official design to be launched during EB4.
1.3. Official set (backgrounds, themes, screensavers) will be distributed to attendees from one of our laptop/bluetooth systems. No crowding around the laptop, just sit where you are and wait for the bluetooth transmission.
2.0. Set up a Phil. SE users group booth at a major mall (Glorietta, Power Plant, Megamall, Alabang, etc). Ask for sponsorship from SE, Globe and/or Smart.
2.1. We could man the booth with complete compilations of backgrounds, themes, MMS and screensavers to offer for free to anybody interested. These could be sent to mallers via bluetooth or IRDA.
2.2. This could help promote awareness on the capabilities/features of SE phones. Hope the P800 will be available by then.
What do you think? Any other suggestions?
