Yeah Shiho does not look so great, the front reminds me of T303 while the back reminds me of the SO905iCS and G502. seems like they were practicing "copy paste" of designs from other SEs. but having seen the designs of the unannounced nokia phones lately(The ugly looking N85, N79, 5800, 6260) shiho looks much better then

I think the C905 looks amazing! Especially in black, but the white/silver looks cool and reminds me of the old T100i's materials which I always liked.

And finally I think we have gone one up over the Japanese. Where's their 8MP mobile phone?

And SEs reply as to why we dont have phones similar to the Japanese market is:

"Japan are more advanced in technology"

so we get an 8 megapixel camera phone ahead of Japan instead? More specs from Japan please! No more excuses!

i agree. from a designer's point of view, it looks like they didn't put so much thought on the aesthetic aspect of this product. it looks like an homage to the s700 but not so much of SE's design philosophy is evident. the design is very safe and basic.

at least the k850 was provocative. what concerns me the most is the size. it may turn off a lot of potential buyers because of this, given that the c902 kinda sets a new benchmark for cybershots when it comes to compactness. though we all know, it compromises a lot of features. but the thing is, not all buyers are geeks like us.

on the bright side, i'm really digging the back.

The major flaw with the C905, I can see, is the fact that if bought in the US, everyone will be asking the owner, "ZOMG, is that the new Chocolate??!!"

ETA: The other major flaw is that the C905 doesn't have a retractable blade to kill these people quietly.

So now they're trying to sort out the mess with K850's poor design, i do hope they would also fix the mess they've done with K850's misserable camera quality as well as the software itself. if they've done it right(they way they used before with S700 and K750) then i can't see any reason for SE not to dethrone nokia on the camera segment

I think the 8mp is just market hype like the Imobile. Im guessing to get the best results, pics should be taken at 5mp.

And this really is a Japanese concept phone! People wanted it so bad, we get it, and i hear whinning about the size?
some people are never satasfied
