akdemiru, do you think the version you have is the final one we will get next week, or are they still working on it???
also, can you repeat the opera + pdf+ + quickoffice test, but this time loading some files both on pdf+ and quickoffice??

I need an opinion. What are the chances that the new firmware won't be released on time? iirc, SE does take note of what happens in high profile forums like this one so if the results of the tests conducted by akdemiru fall short of people's expectations, SE may delay the release in fear of what PhoenixSpiri mentioned actually happening.
There's a list of software that I'd like to buy and have been holding off in anticipation of the new FW.

ive found that autofocus has always worked for me on my r7 firmware just click the button for a sec for it to focus then press harder to the pic !

with 6.7MB Ram available (push mail, bluetooth and wireless is running)
I have opened pdf+
free ram went down to 5.5MB
opened a 750K pdf file to view
free ram now 4.6 MB
started quickoffice
free ram now 4.2MB
opened a 60K word file with quickword
free ram is now 1.6MB o its not enough to open opera..
closed the 60k word file and quickword and gained 2.8MB memory
so now its 4.4Mb free again
opened opera now
1.3MB free but not surfed web yet
opened google
free ram is now 0.7MB
so opera is running - google is open
a pdf file is open
quick office is running
push mail is running
and it is still working but as soon as you leave it for a few minutes and comeback to it later you can see on the swiss task manager application are going down one by one.. so the phone decides to shutdown down..
now without my initiation they are all shut down and back with pusmail only cause it automaticly restarts
