The current smartwatch just came out last year. The OLED display is decent, but there's definately room for improvement. I wasn't all that impressed when I saw it in person.
No idea about battery drain of this new JDI screen though. I hope zomg is right about it though as it'll put Sony ahead of the competition.
As for battery life, barring a MASSIVE battery, I wouldn't expect it to last more than 3-4 days with moderate use.
I do agree that they should make it water resistant and surprised the current one doesn't already sport this feature. At this point, with almost all their new devices having this feature, it'd be unlikely that they left it out of the new smartwatch.
The current smartwatch is splashproof. Judging by the current move towards waterproofing devices, I think it's pretty much a certainty that the smartwatch will have this feature.

What is CN2? No idea at first but when googling for Sony CN2, it links to a hvchd camcorder, see link below.
However, no mention of cn2 in the page, you need to google it Sony Cn2

Xperia CN3:is a codename(that is, the media have called the C3 aka cn3 mtk phone), equipped with dual sim dual standby function. 5-inch 720p screen, quad-core processor chip MTK (MT6589 quad-core processor should be that).
CN3 is the cheapest Qualcomm quad-core SoC cheaper than 30%, significantly contributes to Sony to reduce costs.
I also feel Huiyi might be referring this rumour to Togari,honami might be the Maia source,not sure ,but still confused
