Yeah, would be fun if we all 'dressed up' for the Esato Awards 2007 and posted the pics on the evening when the winners for the categories are announced on that thread.

Time I got some 'shut-eye'; it's nearly 3am..

@ 786KBR,

Did you see that India's BCCI announced the new Indian cricket coach yesterday..

...none other than South Africa's Graham Ford:

@ HOBBS,
You have a PM from The Wanqing One.
BTW, another UK independent cellphone distributor, Mobilefun, has also dropped the price of the sim-free P990 further, currently retailing at £234.95 (approx R3350 with the current exchange rate):

@ HOBBS,
There's nowadays stacks of new N95's on eBay. New network-locked ones sell from roughly £250 (approx R3600) and up. New unlocked/ sim-free ones from roughly £300 (approx R4300) up.
http://search.ebay.co.uk/sear[....]num=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=
From independent cellphone shops like Mobilefun, they're still a whopping £439.95 (approx R6300).

Should drop steadily in price over the coming months, although its currently peerless array of features will ensure it doesn't depreciate as quickly as the vast majority of other cellphones out there...

@ hobbs, music wise i do anything. Got a couple of bands i play in, but all in the starting stages as all of us are very busy in our days. I do my own brand of music, not much going due to too little time, but you can hear it on my MySpace site, the link is in my signature.

I am keen to see what other mobile ideas google will work on. All that they touch turns to google-coloured money. I just like their simplistic approach. I always want the best and fastest, but its the type of reliability and simplistic approach of google that makes their offerings quick. So yeah. Also keen to see Mozilla do some more mobile apps. Hope they make a java browser...they can call it Fireferret..

I'm feeling sick today...had a koeksister at the office and now it seems I my belly is protesting. Yesterday drove all over the place in search for non-existent flood damage, only to be told by rescue workers on arrival in Mooreesburg that they expected a moerse torrent to hit the Swartland town on Monday/Tuesday.

Paged through my Sunday Times this morning and guess what? DStv and Vodacom have teamed up to offer the cheapest satellite tv deal...for 16 channels (thats including the FTA terrestrial channels) you only pay R139...there's no movie channel and and no live football.

http://www.engineeringnews.co.za/article.php?a_id=110711

Just an opinion: Last time I checked, Vodacom was 50% owned by Telkom which recently launched Telkom Media- a vehicle to launch into the pay-tv market. Their licence application still has to be approved and their preferred medium of delivery (IPTV) has its sceptics in SA judging from the monopoly's crappy ADSL service.

I'll post up some pics of later this evening when I get home.
