im using the m600i tho
edit: it works for the m600i. just did it in the "Phone" section.

did you even try it because its the same sequence on all SE phones since SE phones began, and indeed on Ericsson phones before that.
on Symbian phones its a jog dial movement as described whereas in non symbian then its a joystick movement to the left or right, but at the end of the day the sequence to get into the service menu to see the firmware version is always the same

edit: I was on the service menu and there is an option to "Format internal disk" is this a master reset? can any1 tell me any more about this?

@Masseur... noticed over at the P990i thread, that you suggested the M600i is your favoured phone between the two at the moment... other than the radio, wifi and the camera...
.... have you noticed many differences?
I think I maybe going down the route of getting another back up phone with the M600i to fulfill some of those roles....
