Cool it'd be interesting to know if it still works ok.
The only problem i've had thus far with 2.2, is not really an issue with the firmware itself, Intelliscreen is making mail.app crash when trying to load my GMail. It's a known issue with version 2.29 of Intelliscreen, which i think has been sorted in the update of Intelliscreen 2.30 today. It was a problem with the taskbar/statusbar notification icons. You just need to turn them off in IntelliAlerts for the time being.
@NoKia This may have affected you too so just a heads up

another new cool feature is when u get a voicemail and u click on the phone icon it takes u straight to the voicemail menu as opposed to taking u to wherever you where the last time you closed the app

also, if you press the home button it takes you to the desktop where you launched the app you were in, but if you press it a second time it takes you to the first desktop page. I do like that too
all in all, not a bad update

Yeah some nice touches in there for sure.
The main thing that hacks me off is the battery life... just want to be able to use it for a day without worrying about the fact the battery might die before i get home!

Does your turbo-sim work in the phone now you've updated?
I've just tested this and I'm happy to report that my turbo sim works fine for calls and data using the new 2.2 firmware

I haven't been able to test it properly yet, but I'm actually noticing some improvement in battery life over the last couple of charges. I generally just plug it in every day at work, but it seemed to last longer than usual over the weekend (after the update), and the battery is generally fuller than I'm used to seeing it when I plug it in at work.
My iPhone's still relatively new though (one month yesterday) so it's possible the battery's still improving with conditioning - and obviously usage varies etc..
On the whole I'm happy with the battery life - with the way the phone is used (with lots more video, music, and gaming than my previous handsets have had to provide) it's compares very well, and has never really let me down. I'm sure if I needed it to go longer without charges and just kept it to phone use, it would run a day or two longer - long enough to get by.

Guys, when we receive a new email should this be shown on the Lock Screen?
Right now, if I get a new SMS I get a notification on the Lock Screen. But if I get a new email there's no notification. I can only see new emails notifications when I unlock the screen.
