@ MrMojo1, ¿are you happy with your phone? Or to put it in an other way, why did you buy it.

Album art support is TERRIBLE!! Almost non-existent since MediaGo sucks!!
- Drag n Drop files into phone's media card is the EASIEST and relatively quickest method of file transfer.
I haven't even installed MediaGo yet but I think Drag and drop is going to be the best method. It's very easy and the Album Art works too.
For anyone looking for the best MP3 Player phone this is the best out there if you don't want to carry a huge brick with you. The phone is sleek, very well built and has the most convenient features for a phone like smart dialing, excellent call logs, terrific MMS interface and plenty of free Java apps to check email, upload images, nice games, etc.
But, if you are looking for something new and great compared to SE phones from last year or two, you will feel let down. I used W910 for almost 2 years now and I really don't find anything new as I don't care about GPS or a great camera. But the phone feels great and I hope I don't fill the back of the phone with too many scratches. I preferred the rubbery back of W910i.

I don't have to justify my reason on buying the phone to anyone!
Also, would rather not argue with argue with any SE fanboys but voice my review and opinion on my experience with the W995!
Isn't this the reason for the forum?!
Anyway..... my reasons for the phone....
Bought phone to replace W890 which is now my backup phone.
W995 Phone is actually nice and it works well. Really like the look of the phone which is probably another reason I bought the phone.
Still can't stand the Media software.
Been using SE phones since P1i then W890 now W995!!
Decent phones with relatively good reception is mainly what I'm after!
Media player is a bonus (but still will NEVER replace my iPod since it's EASIER to use esp iTunes and it has a 3.5mm port)!
Despite the newer phone models and slow software updates, SE's Media software still SUCKS!!
At least SE finally got the Update Service Software correct! It's Much easier now (though it's STILL annoying having to push the "C" button instead of having software AUTOMATICALLY run the entire update procedure)!
Now.....
How do other people use the Drag n Drop "feature"?
I do this:
1. MediaGo is opened on Left side of screen
2. Windows Explorer and media folder is opened on right side of screen
3. Created new playlist in MediaGo
- Highlight files on right side then DRAG it left
4. Woops! A circle with cross appears which means that Drag n Drop is NOT possible!
5. Having trouble creating folders but manage to create one in MediaGo
- Highlight files on right side then DRAG it left
- Woops! A circle with cross appears which means that Drag n Drop is NOT possible!
6. Highlight a playlist in MediaGo. Then DRAG to phone's media card.
- Woops! It won't let me!
- Right click or use option to "transfer playlist" to Media card!
- OK, it works but VERY, VERY SLOW!
I've read OTHER online reviewers state the same thing that it's MUCH easier just to use Windows Explorer to Drag n Drop files into phone's media card than use Sony's Media Software which I wholly agree!
Now, someone please tell me how YOU use MediaGo! EVERYBODY has their experiences!
BTW....
Video conversion is really a hassle.
It literally took OVER 1 hour to convert a Movie to mp4 format.
Then it took over 30 minutes transferring to phone's media card.
I redid the conversion with a 3d party video conversion software then transferred it (Drag n Drop) via Windows Explorer into phone's media card, video folder. That took me about 45 minutes!!

Kit,
How do you use the Album art feature without first encoding the files with the album art?
I actually read the SE Users Guide and MediaGo Guide but it never explained how to use it!
Please explain how to import the album art if I used Drag n Drop the music files (Beatles folder, 12 files) from Windows Explorers into the phone's media card under \\Music.
I would then create a playlist within the phone!
Now how do you import the album art??
Thank you!
