dlreyes, i'm not sure if what you said got to my brain right but the simplest way for an operator to charge, is to bill via the bearer (such as CSD or GPRS) and everything else is free, such as MMS. Dadaan din naman ang MMS sa CSD or GPRS eh, so why bill twice. However, i don't mind being billed per MMS (or MMS pages) as long as GPRS is free. He He He, if you get what i mean.

i would rather wait and get a p800 than settle for the 7650. man, it's not even tri-band

@dlreyes: what i meant by misquoted is-- he did not copy the way it was written word for word so therefore it was misinterpreted
i think it was quite clear, just follow what the two astreisks (**) were pointing to... but by the way it is written, there can be two scenarios after aug31-- 1. gprs will not be free after aug 31; 2. gprs will still be free but the carriers will be able to identify MMS transmission via gprs and therefore can charge per message or per page of MMS

@JwBlue... No argument there and how I wish your second scenario would prevail. As Arnold would say, we wouldn't mind being charged for MMS as long as gprs is still free. (We could always use Tactel anyway for our MMS needs). Hey what am I talking about? I'm a Globe subscriber!

@JWBlue... my wife wants to fine tune it with the composer of the t68 and since I always have my unit with me and the times we are together is spent doing some hanky panky stuff (while my daughter tinkers with the t68i), the ringtone requests become delayed... I guess it's her way of telling me to get her a unit of her own.

@Arnoldc... For the reasons stated above, I guess I have to get my wife her desired T68i.
