Must've been some fancy dress party!

Interesting piece about Vodacom and Telkom's split...they're doing too much of the same things.

@da wanqsta: SE will definitely disappoint with some of their offerings this evening but hope springs eternal and sceptics like myself hope to be proven wrong.

Can't wait for mario2004 to come and spew some of his venom at lack of some obscure Wi-Fi standard

Yeah, the Empire will strike back and scorn the Rebellion's inferior versions of Wi-Fi and GPS amongst the ranks of its new Phone Fleet..

And woe betide any presence of sub-400mhz processors or lesser RAM beings...or if Jedi EDGE doesn't manifest on ALL of the Rebellion's latest offerings...

Lolz, no I left work shortly after all the announcements and have just got home after doing the obligatory grocery shopping etc.

Biggest downer about the K850i is the lack of wi-fi (Mario must be frothing at the mouth...) and doesn't have a smartphone platform. (the latter we kinda expected.)

Apart from HSCSD, HSDPA and 5mp cam with Xenon flash, a K850i trump card of sorts is the ability to accept more than one type of memory card:

Memory Stick Micro(TM) (M2(TM)) and SanDisk micro SD(TM)/Transflash(TM)

So overall specs-wise for candybar-type handsets, it would seem that the N95 is still da daddy.

Personally I like the look of the K850i's black and 'Luminous Green' accents a lot. Think I still prefer the look of the T650i though.

If you're still bitching after seeing the W960 then nothing will ever make you happy, you're doomed to die a lonely death.

Of all the phone and accessories announced today I kinda like the K530 with its GPS attachment and the aforementioned Walkman flagship. Dunno how Apple will compete with this one, forget about Nokia.
