WOW! the green and blue on the building is very clear. Although I still can see some noise, this maybe because it's still early morning and the sun hasn't risen fully. It's nearly 3am here in London, so I'll wait till the morning and see if I can catch the sunrise

... BTW do you use macro still when taking normal photos or do you take it off? when you use the 5.6a?

Nice picture, but the sky is overexposed. I would prefer normal settings and exposure compensation, instead of night mode.
I want to ask you about the MXE flash - is it worth buying or should I write a letter to Santa
Why the pictures taken with the flash use more JPEG compression than normal pictures?
@ilabstudios, I was about to ask the same question - why do some of you use macro when shooting non-macro pictures?
P.S. I noticed that some of you have trouble accessing RapidShare. So I uploaded the
collection of drivers (collected by
chakme), including the new 5.6a modifications, to
this site. Try it and tell me if you can access it.

today i've tested the 5.6a w/o spot Camdriver made by our buddy
e_erzan and all i can say was... its a remarkably awesome camdriver i must say.. Big Credit to our mate here

anyway.. Here's the result of your masterpiece
*all picture below are taken on these settings:
Nightmode =
OFF
Quality =
FINE
MacroMode: Close up pic=
ON : Distance pic=
OFF
*

This pic are taken with Nightmode=ON + Macromode...
Comments
This camdriver perform very well on macro shots as far as i can see. on the other hand, Nightmode settings are best way to reduce bit of noises on the pic.. and again, with the Nightmode settings.. there's a choices.. that is... With Nightmode on, it'll reduce a bit noise but you'll sacrifice some of the true colour of the object you going to shoot.. not quite noticeable but when you carefully look on it, you'll spot the different on the colour tone. And for the outdoor shots.. my suggestion are when there's enough sunlight or light source.. no reason to turn on the Nightmode, as you can see on my first picture of the orchid... hardly to spot the noise

ok i think that's all my comments about this new camdriver.. one thing for sure, its worth to try it out

cheers~!
Disclaimer: all this comments are from my personal point of view.. if anyone of you felt uncomfortable or anything, May i apologize first

yeah that true what
QuickShare™ just said, thanks to
e_erzan for this driver !!!!
pic with micro is no problem for this driver, but when take pic make sure the distance between camera n the object. if to close the pic will blur.
so anyone know what actually the best distance to take close pic ????
yet again nitemode must be used to reduce noise in some situation. thats why i always take 2 pic, with nitemode off & on. then i see which one is ok then i'll select that
most important is technic and skill to take best pic. if not u cant have best pic with best driver. so anyone have guide on take best pic ???

Excellent work e_erzan, I'm sad to sya I do not have a W800i to test out your cam driver personally. But it looks good, maybe the best to date I suppose....cant conclude without seeing more pics, To remove the noise maybe you should edit the Nightmode settings to make it a bit faster or adjust the normal settings which are under night mode to make it a bit slower allowing in more light. I think you should make it a little bit slower will solve the problem....but dont make it too slow.

Akshay

Ok guys, I've just been out to my highstreet and took a few landscape photos @ a distance and also some sky shots.. Most images are all in nonmacro mode, night, no whitebalance-auto, except the close up photos which are macro, night mode.

Thanks a lot for this driver e_erzan. The pics are great quality. Just one question please; is this driver based on 5.3 or 5.4?

This is a photo of a swing on a tree. Notice how the grass is brighter when switched to nightmode and also the darker areas of the tree are now visible! (note: the sun was in the same spot when taking both photos and was the same brightness)
